More Than Gear

Another piece of the campaign is starting to feel real.

Veterans and Athletes United sent a VAU performance shirt, informational materials, and a challenge coin to help support and represent the organization as I train and build the For the 22 campaign.

This is more than just gear. VAU is one of the organizations I'm working to raise awareness and support for, so being able to wear their logo while training, volunteering, and participating in the triathlon community gives me another opportunity to start conversations about their mission.

The goal continues to be bigger than crossing a finish line. Every training session, race, volunteer opportunity, shirt, and conversation is another chance to put the mission in front of somebody who may not have seen it otherwise.
